Right now, our team is looking for a self-sufficient Senior Rails Developer/Architect who can do full stack work, translating business requests into technical requirements and taking them through implementation, testing and QA, deployment, and then collecting user feedback and iterating.

- Build and maintain core Ruby on Rails services that power our smart payout and financial operations platform.
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to prototype, train, and deploy LLM-driven capabilities.
- Develop APIs and backend logic that securely handle creator and business financial data, ensuring compliance and scalability.
- Own feature delivery end-to-end—from conception through deployment and iteration.
- Translate business requests into technical solutions and manage the full development lifecycle, including testing, QA, and post-deployment feedback loops.
- Stay current with LLM tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, LangChain) and bring those insights into production systems.
- This position reports to the Director of Engineering but will work directly with our Technical Cofounder, Lead Data Scientist, Product & QA team members.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Experience with SQL and building applications from the ground up
- Experience hosting Rails applications and handling DevOps tasks
- Proficiency in integrating third-party tools with a Rails codebase, including REST, GraphQL, and OAuth strategies
- Ability to pick up Jira tickets and take them from spec → PR → prod
- Constantly identifying issues and making improvements to code for readability, reusability and performance without slowing down
- Strong communicator who works well asynchronously but knows when to collaborate
- Experience with API integrations, background jobs (Sidekiq), and Postgres
- Knowledge of or experience with other parts of our tech stack is preferred, but we understand not every candidate will cover everything
- Interest or experience in LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, etc.) is a big bonus
- Have excellent organization and communication skills
- Can be effective in managing multiple tasks or issues at once
- Are proactive when it comes to learning new things and surfacing new ideas

- College degree in a technical or related field
- Proficiency with MacBook laptops MacOS
