Job Description:
The primary goal of this project is to develop and maintain a key part of NGC3’s infrastructure, with a focus on Elasticsearch and data enrichment processes. The scope is evolving to include platform upgrades and ongoing maintenance support, ensuring a seamless transition from current services and subscriptions to the new cloud-based platforms. Project requirements center on maintaining the operational stability ("keeping the lights on") of the existing Cision Comms Suite platforms, including NGC3, C3, and CPRE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Elasticsearch-based infrastructure for NGC3.

• Implement data enrichment processes to enhance platform capabilities.

• Perform platform upgrades and provide ongoing maintenance support.

• Ensure operational stability of Cision Comms Suite platforms (NGC3, C3, CPRE).

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 + years in Ruby on Rails for backend development.

• Extensive experience with Elasticsearch and MySQL databases.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Hands-on experience in writing JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks, such as React.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Elasticsearch or Kubernetes.

• Experience in cloud-based platform migrations.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
