Ruby on Rails Fullstack Developer

We’re looking for a mid/senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a long-term collaboration who’ll help us build a brand-new project (currently in the early development phase - built with modern architecture and deeply integrated with cutting-edge AI technologies like OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and more) and improve our current products (CMS, Stock Management System - both are mature and well-maintained).

Work methodology/routines:

• We work in Scrumban with daily meetings around 10 am (exact time depending on project) and demo & planning meetings every 2 weeks, we use JIRA as our project management system
• Monthly 1-on-1 meetings with tech leader
• Transparent company/department objectives
• Biweekly dev meetings dedicated for knowledge sharing (a great opportunity to discuss/present/listen to interesting IT topics) - attendance is optional, but most of the team actively participates

Nice to have:

• Experience with Vue.js / Stimulus.js or other modern front-end framework
• Experience in using front-end components frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, Bulma, etc.

• Python basics (being able to read Python code and write some simple piece of code is more than enough)
• Experience in integrating with AI solutions provider, such as OpenAI, Elevenlabs etc. via their APIs

What we're looking for:

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in Ruby on Rails
• We are looking for someone with mid-level experience or higher
• Communicative proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum of B2 level

What you'll be responsible for:

• Implementing new features (in new projects developed from scratch but also in existing projects - all of them are developed by us)
• Refactoring and optimizing existing code
• Having an impact on the tech stack (we’re open to introducing new technologies when it makes sense - GraphQL and Elasticsearch were developer suggestions)
• Contributing to product development (we welcome ideas for improving our products)
• Performing code reviews
