About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic GTS team. This role will focus on both legacy system maintenance and new platform development, playing a key part in enhancing our supply chain management software. If you are passionate about working with multiple programming languages and eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Maintenance (80%)
- Maintain and develop the legacy system using Ruby on Rails.
- Lead migration projects to transition to new platforms, utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, Python, AWS, React, and Flask.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on module development and system architecture enhancements.
- Document system analysis and workflows for legacy systems and design new workflows for the updated platform.
Learning and Enhancement (20%)
- Participate in continuous learning opportunities, including Frontend, DevOps, Backend, and Dataflow training courses.
- Contribute to the improvement of our development processes under the guidance of Senior Engineers and Solution Architects.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in any programming language, including both frontend and backend development.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and other programming frameworks like React, Flask, and AWS services.
- Strong interest in logistics business processes and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- An attentive, conscientious, and responsible approach to work.
