Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

Job Description

We expect you have:

• Hands-on experience developing web applications
• Understanding of OOP, MVC and automated test development
• Responsibility, purposefulness and the ability to work in a team
• Ability to apply web application security guidelines in practice
• Pragmatic approach to solving problems, desire to always achieve results
• Good knowledge of English and Latvian (oral and written)

We will consider as an advantage

• Experience in work with Ruby on Rails
• Understanding of database and server configuration options
• Knowledge of containerization solutions
• Knowledge of web usage and security guidelines
• Familiarity with mobile development and custom web development principles
• Knowledge of mobile development principles and practical experience

• Develop, test and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Participating in project planning and development.
• Working closely with other members of the development team, including designers and analysts.
• Monitoring and improving existing code as well as develop new projects according to customer requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure quality and security.
