Our Product team is growing, and we have an opening for a talented and experienced Product Engineer to join us in Stockholm, Sweden.
As a critical member of the product team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that create value for our end-users.
We believe you are someone dedicated to understanding customer needs and translating them into effective product features and improvements. This role requires strong collaboration with and within multidisciplinary group constellations to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain high-quality, secure software solutions in line with our Product Development Process and Secure Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring they meet customer and end-user needs and business requirements while adhering to established best practices as well as company policies.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing timely and constructive feedback and suggestions to improve code quality and maintainability, and to further the skills of their peers.
- Test, launch, refine, and troubleshoot product features, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal user experience in line with business objectives.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the wider engineering team's skills and processes.
- Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project status, technical challenges, and dependencies.
What you’ll bring to the Team
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development, working with Ruby on Rails in a full-stack approach.
- Infrastructure experience from AWS, Azure, or similar.
- An ability to technically design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-quality APIs & web/PWA applications.
- Native (iOS, Android) experience is a bonus but not required.
- Great verbal and written communication skills; you will guide team members and peers, communicate with the overall organization, and document systems (English is our working language and needs to be mastered well)
- Experience working side by side with business and product stakeholders, and thus a strong understanding of business and user requirements.
- An understanding of either banking or payments would be a plus.
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments and strong advocacy for hybrid work models, fostering productivity and collaboration across distributed teams
